In Canarvon, 54 people participated in this study. They had parents and grandparents who were also from Canarvon. Their genetic ancestry results can be representative of all the people of Canarvon.
The average person in Canarvon has ancestry from 4 groups. Most of their ancestors, that is 50%, come from a Khoe-San group. 15% of their ancestors are European, 25% are from West Africa, and 10% are from South Asia.
This is the same as having a father who is 50% Khoe-San, and 50% West African and a Mother who is 50% Khoe-San, 30% European, and 20% South Asian
